The wreath laying ceremony took place earlier today at War Memorial, under the supervision of the Master of Ceremonies. Diamond Jubilee Cornet Jed Huggan was Silver Jubilee Cornet Lee Matthew and Cornet Connor Brunton each laid a wreath.
Just as last week, the low key ceremony was carried out under social distancing rules. Police Scotland were aware of the Wreath Laying.
Again just as last week. it was felt that it was wise to carry out the ceremony with as few people knowing as possible, to avoid any risk of drawing a crowd.
